Anyways, refer to the map below for the specific route. I strongly recommend letting a "tin can" (fullplate + tower shield + fortification) take the lead.

The main threat in this dungeon are the Archers! They have amazing accuracy, shoot quickly, hit hard and crit often. Mobs will spawn in packs of 7-10 or so with roughly 50% Archers, 40% Melee, 10% casters. This is just a straight line hallway grind. Yellow Circles - Spawns (Spawns are random, but I encountered mobs here quite commonly) In this room there's are a couple spawns with possible Orange-named (whoo chests). There's a door that you should go through. Once you've talked to Otis, he'll be a vendor where you can buy stacks of Coal, Mauls and Adamantine Mauls (*shrug*) and repair.Īfter talking to Otis (he said some stuff, I didn't bother reading it ), run into the temple and hang a right. Once inside the door, there's a guy standing next to a mushroom covered crafting table (the crafting guide is a differ *future* thread that is Soon^tm) named Otis. If you want to test your mettle, these guys are a very good representation of what you'll be facing inside. Note: There are two groups of "standard" spawns to the left of the door. Directly in front of you is this giant golden door. The quest entrance itself is on the lower floor from where you enter the Hall. The entrance in the Marketplace is North East of the bank and a little obscure. There are entrances to the Hall of Heroes in the Marketplace and Eveningstar Village. This may seem like a silly step, but the quest entrance is in the Hall of Heroes (which is annoying to locate the first time through).

  • Resist Energy! (Fire/Cold are super important for the boss!).

Elementals are annoyingly tanky in here and Rednamed.an SLA spammer would be even better for RAW dps).

  • +X Something of (Greater//Lesser) Elemental Bane (I'd probably do Acid or Acid burst on the front, more important is the Bane.
  • Holy + Bleed weapons trash beaters (pretty much everything in here is evil and bleeds including all of the bosses).
  • The casters are fond of enervation and you'll usually end up sporting a lovely collection of negative levels).

  • Raise Scrolls (or someone with Raise Dead, there are a few shrines, but its a long quest).
  • True Seeing (someone with a Search Score, there are secret doors).
  • 100 x Cure Serious Wounds (this is a long quest, self healing is good).
  • So here's what I recommend that a party brings in terms of "preparation". Anyways, sharing is caring so I though I'd go ahead and make up a walk through for part 1 (and part 2 is now here). Hello DDO Forums! I'm Treefolk d'Cannith, Crusader of the Silver Legion and I'm bringing you a guide to the first part of ToEE.
